The RZ Mask is a fairly exceptional piece of equipment, the RZ mask is (you guessed it) a mask that is designed to block carcinogens from reaching your respiratory tract while doing various hazardous tasks on the fire ground or whatever you may be doing involving bad things in the air (yes, even use it in the restroom after some taco bell). We as firemen can use this mask for some serious exterior ops considering it blocks carcinogens that we WILL get from smoke of various materials that are used in construction of houses and the contents inside.
The RZ mask is made rather well, the material used seems very durable and surprisingly fashionable. During its first use the mask was honestly very snug and fit comfortably on the face. BE WARNED when I received this mask the package that it came in smelled like apple cider vinegar (don’t ask me why) other than a smell that will make you want to Badaxx yourself in the face it is a high quality product.
So, lets go over some positives of the mask,

One: the mask has an adjustable strap for getting that snug fit and believe me you’ll need it if you have a thick face like me.
Two: the material used doesn’t rub your face or annoy you in any way.

Three: YOU LOOK LIKE A NINJA, I mean come on who doesn’t want to look like a ninja on the fire ground.

Four: RZ mask makes many different colors and prints that you can customize on their website at the time of purchase.
Ok, i only have one negative about this mask..its the vinegar smell, although it goes away after a short time, still makes my eye twitch when i remember that i don’t know why it smelled like that when i unpackaged it.
This mask is designed very well, i couldn’t have asked for a better design.There are two different materials that you can buy one is neoprene and the other is mesh which is the one i purchased. Regarding the neoprene material it is a very tough and durable material and the mesh is also just as durable. Both designs come standard with the active carbon filters that block 99.9% of carcinogens in the surrounding area, dual one way discharge valves that reduce condensation in the mask (plus if your breath smells like you chew on garlic cloves like some juicy fruit it won’t make you ruin your mask with vomit when you put it back on), it also has an adjustable nose clip to prevent fogging of glasses (if you have the eyesight of the daredevil), it comes with a velcro strap to fit it to your face depending on the shape and size of your head it also has a 360 degree seal. The RZ Mask is also tested at a Microbiological Testing Facility. The package comes with another replacement filter that lasts up to 60 hours of use. There are multiple types of filters.
The RZ Mask is so easy that your 99 year old grammy Wilma can use it. It is as easy as putting the strap around your head and securing it. There is the task of changing the filter (which grammy Wilma may have some trouble with) but for most anyone else it is pretty simple..there are two small plastic filter caps on the front of the mask that must come off in order to change the filter but its a simple twist lock that holds them in place.
There are various different types of the RZ Masks on their website rzmask.com including neoprene and mesh, also different masks for different temperatures and different makes of the mask (M1, M2, M2.5).

Other uses. RZ mask has different uses such as construction and firefighting or even uses for athletes.
