Friday December 30th - Fore

Played #golf today at #yatesvillelake. Decided to see how I would shoot with a half set versus a full set. On the front 9 I played a half set of Driver, 5 wood, 4 Hybrid, 7 iron, 9 iron, 54, 58 and putter. On the back 9 I played my standard set, Driver, 3wood, 7 wood, 5hybrid, 6-sw, 60 degree and putter. The round went about like my typical rounds, so I would expect the result to be a typical representation of my play. I found that I played the same or similar either way. The rounds were with 1 shot of each other. Similar to previous times I had played this course. Based on this I concluded that I suck similarly bad with either a half set or full set. It is worth trying as it does make you play shot that you would not typically shoot and utilize course management. Try it on your next round, you might be surprise. Have a good new year. Fore -
