Celebrating New Year's Day Around the World

How was your first day of 2024? Mine began with watching a movie with my wife and children, as is our tradition, and shooting fire works to bring the new year in with a bang. Then it was off to bed for me as I was one of the lucky ones that got to work today. As a pharmacist, there are few real holidays, just primarily days in which the doctors offices are closed and you have time to catch up on task. Work was uneventful for the most part, but I was gifting with getting to work with two of the best technicians we have, so the day went smoothly. My thoughts today were of a question I was ask new years eve, to return to my former volunteer fire department. To preface this, I left on not so good terms, but it has been over two years ago so idk. After listing pros and cons of the situation and allowing myself to sleep on it. I decided why not, give them 6 month trial period and see how it goes. Does allow me the opportunity to pass on the skills i have learned since leaving. Only thing left to it is to do it.
